Went to Watson’s at TPY Hub yesterday and finally got the items I’ve been eye-ing for!
Told sis I wanted to get them after I got my pay and thank god for the sale, I bought some items at a cheaper price!

Loreal Base Magiq: $14.30

Elf Bronzing Powder: $3.90

Bebe Poshe Supervolume Lash Diva mascara: $17.25

I must be crazy enough to get all these

One thing I realised when it comes to shopping for shirts, shoes, bags, gadgets & etc.

I have a soft spot for uncommon/weird items.

I own 5 shirts from this store called Revoltage because I have never seen anyone wearing their shirts before. It is also because back then their style totally fits me.

I own 2 pairs of handcrafted heels from Madame-H. It was just one pair previously (bf bought it for me for our 1st year)  but I bought another pair last Friday. It was $162 (after a 35% discount!!!) but sooooo soooo comfy!

I also bought my boyfriend a pair of leather shoes from the same store so now we have 2 pairs of shoes from that store each.

And just now… my boyfriend made a purchase for a watch as our 2nd Year anniversary gift cos I like that funky design. Initially I wanted to pay for it myself but my bf offered to buy it for me as a gift. WTF I must be crazy laaaaa!

But it’s too cool for me to resist!
(Watch can be found here!)

But it maybe the work stress that turned me to retail therapy… in a very bad way. I need to stop buying all these expensive things.

O2 Skin Haul

I went AMK Hub with Sis and Cousin Joanne just now and bought a lot of stuffs from O2 Skin!

Nail Polish and eyeshadow going at 90 cents each and blusher at $2.90 each! Even our favorite masks from O2 Skin are going at $3.90 each.

Bloody cheap steal.

And the best thing of all is that, they are quality stuffs. Just look at how pigmented these colors looked on my eyes:

And just one swipe and the color is there!

Wanna grab some lipsticks and glosses as well but the type I’m using ran out of stock (yes I own a lot of O2 skin stuffs because it is a good brand).

So happy with my loot today!

(And yes, I will try and wear green eyeshadow out. Just need to get used to bright colours. Anyway they always look great on hazel eyes. :) )

Organising Makeup and Skincare Products + Hauls

My shelf is bursting with loads of products and it becomes so difficult for me to reach into certain areas sometimes!

So I decided to separate them into 2 different shelves.
Anyway CNY is coming, so it makes a good time to clear up the mess in my wardrobe.

I always spend a good time trying to decorate my shelves as this is my favorite place of all!

Isn’t this neat?
The upper shelf is where I store all my skincare and haircare products,
and the lower shelf is my new makeup station!

Skincare Station

All my toner, moisturizers, rash and acne creams are all here.
Sometimes I don’t know when I can finish them all.

Behind those stuffs are my travel pouches and stuffs that I rarely use/backup
such as sponges, chains and hooks for my accessories.

Hair products and my facial masks.
Oh and did I mention my love for Nexcare?
It doesn’t heal my acne on its own,
but my zits are healed faster with its help!

Makeup Station

My Makeup Station complete with newly bought EoB brushes stuck on wall!
It’s now far more easier for me to reach for my stuffs are they are properly placed!

Stuffs for my eyes.
The top shelf is for my eye shadows and falsies
and the bottom shelf is for my mascaras and eyeliners.

Just realized I have a lot of mascaras and eyeliners!
My favorite mascara is the one in brown followed by YSL mascara in gold!

For my lips.
I’m very fond of nude lippies and lip balms!

All 3 colours are light.
The MAC one (left) is in a very pale shade called “Peach Stock”,
the middle one is nude colour from O2 Skin
and the one on the most right is from Silkygirl called “Pretty nude”.
It’s a little close to coral colour.

The container next to the lipsticks are for miscellaneous stuffs
like sharpeners, eyelash glue and eyelid tapes.

All my BB Creams, foundation, powders are all here!

The left is for misc stuffs such as concealer, lip gloss and bronzer.
The middle is for my Skin 79 BB Sun Pact and Loreal Foundation.
The next section is for my BB creams and
the far right is for my loose powder which I hardly use now.

My Brush Holder
Honestly I don’t have much brushes because I always misplaced them
and found them in some dirt areas.
So most of them were chucked into the bin.

Anyway many people were doing this “Sephora inspired” brush holder
so I thought it was useful and I did the same!

This brush holder is for all my brushes,
and some other stuffs like razor and eyelash curler (mad love the curler!).

It’s not too difficult to try and source for all these containers because
they were all found in Daiso!
I spent around 10 bucks (nia!) for all these useful containers!

You might have realized that I don’t own any blushers.
That’s because my skin is very sensitive and so
I don’t like putting on blushers.
They often make my skin worse! :(

Hauls

I finally got my hands on these goodies!
My first ever brush set purchased online from Magicaltannsu
and my first eyeshadow primer!

Firstly I want to say that Magicaltannsu has awesome services I swear!
She even threw in a free eyeshadow brush for me!

Essence of Brushes (EoB) is a dual ended brush set that has
1. Blending, Concealing, Eyeshadow
2. Foundation, Powder, Blush
in 3 brushes!

They are so soft to touch and I love it!

Anyway if you watched Youtube Makeup Guru Michelle Phan,
you will realize that this is her favorite brush set. :)

This is a mineral eyeshadow primer!
A primer preps our skin and prevents eyeshadow from sliding.
Anyway, I bought this from MT instead of e.l.f because MT sells it cheaper.

It is often compared to Urban Decay’s Primer Potion on Makeup Alley!

That’s about all!

Online Shopping Haul: e.l.f cosmetics

Look at what I got from e.l.f!

1. A beauty encyclopedia sparkling eye edition consisting of 12 eye shadows, 2 cream shadows, a eyeshadow brush and an eyeliner!
2. Custom eye shadows!
3. Blending Eye brush

So chio right the colours!

Swatches:

The colours are so highly pigmented and sparkly!
I’ve been trying to get such pigmented colours for a long time!
And the best part is that good things comes cheap (only $23.90).

As these eyeshadows are very pigmented, they are very fragile and tend to “over spill”.
A drop on the floor may also cause the whole palette to crack.

.

These custom eyeshadows are such an awesome steal!
They cost $1.99 and very pigmented as well!

When I swatched them on my fingers, they feel so smooth and velvety!!

What I like about the custom eye shades is that you can pick the colours that you like!
The pan of these eye shadows are already magnetized,
so you can also purchase an empty (magnetized) palette and
put these colours in, instead of buying a whole set of eyeshadow palette when you hardly uses all of the shades.

The brushes from e.l.f were so highly raved on the internet (rated 4 out of 5 on makeupalley) because they are cheap and good (only costs $5.95)
so I got myself one blending brush to try it out!

I have not try it out yet, but from first touch it felt fluffy and soft!
.

Though I know e.l.f is available in SaSa, I made my purchase online because they were cheaper with the ongoing promos and all.
Plus I went down to Tanah Merah to collect my purchases as I feel that deliveries would not be handled properly
(don’t really want my eye shadows to break).

I feel that the trip there was worthwhile as the person in charge was so friendly and explained carefully on how I should take care of my eyeshadows!
I don’t think you get this kind of treatment in stores.

Kai don’t usually approve of me spending my money on such things
as normally they are a waste of money (lousy quality).
But yesterday he told me the cosmetics I got was worth a buy!
You can’t go wrong with the comments of an engineer student. :D

Dinning @ Outback + SALE!!!

Dinning at Outback restaurant today!

Since Kai just started his school at NTU, there are lesser chance to meet up with each other… However today he turns up at my school to give me a surprise! :D

Today is exactly our 8th month together and he still does those silly pop-out-surprises that made my day. Sometimes I wonder to myself if all these are real. I don’t know about the other guys out there, but I know that all my ex-es definitely don’t do this to please a girl.

.

We then decided to head to Outback Restaurant which is located at Millennium Walk!

Potato soup which tastes good, bit similar to Mushroom soup.

If you ever decided to go to Outback for dinner, ORDER THIS FOR YOUR DESSERT. It was being recommended by Wong Lilin on Channel 5 before. It’s some warm brownie with pecan in it and on top of it was a scoop of icecream + whip cream with lots of melted chocolate. For chocolate lovers, I think you would love this.

Besides going to the restaurant, we also went to….

YES! That’s right! The Body Shop warehouse sale!
I received a text from them yesterday but I forgot all about it until I reached Suntec Convention Centre!

So basically it’s a warehouse sale, prices slashed up to 70%!
You can get for example 4 for 10 bucks of body scrub and stuffs…

.

Here’s my shopping loot of the day (heehee):

1. A Kabuki brush! (YES, I finally got one at around 50% off! All vain girls must have this in their makeup kit)
2. 2 Orange scrub thingy
3. Foot softener for cracked heels!
4. A blue foam that is used to exfoliate your feet
5. 4 in 1 nail filer!

Awesome day today!

.

P/S: I’m currently trying out the 14 day face diet recommended by my sister and a method to detoxify liver.
Would blog about the results soon!

Pool & Loads of Shopping

It’s been awhile since I last headed town with my secondary school friends and I must say, I miss hanging out with them!

Since it’s holidays, so we reckon we should meet out and have some fun!

My usual makeup look
(P/S: I didn’t use any concealer today! I’m very surprised at the good results of my eye cream!)

The peeps suggested that we should go play pool. The great thing about playing pool with people that are not very good at it is that you don’t feel embarrassed.

Benjamin the pro :P

Eating chalk?! Not that hungry are you?

Went to Scape Youth Community Place and came across a flee market which I didn’t take a picture of. Bought a shirt over there for 5 bucks and considering I’m a cheapskate when it comes to clothings… the quality of this shirt for 5 bucks is so totally worth it.

I bought some other things as well and my favourite Loot of the Day is a furry grey scarf which I will post at the end of this entry…

I like Benjamin’s short hair. Looks neat on him!

Meifoong and I! Friends for many years, and more to come!

Loots of the Day:

My camera pouch!

Base Coat and Top Coat from The Face Shop!

BEST LOOT OF THE DAY:

A fury grey scarf I bought from a shop in Scape Community Place! You can use it to create many different styles! Super worth it!

Check out this instruction video on how to wear that magic scarf!
