Review: Fancl Cleansing Oil Review

Sponsored Review

Using a good makeup remover is good for the skin.

A good makeup removing routine not only removes dirt and makeup from your face but also the dead skin cells that is present in our face. Makeup does not clog pores but the dead skin cells will.

You may or may not have heard about this Korean girl Bae Dal-mi, the story of her not removing makeup at all for 2 years.

I saw the piece of article here awhile ago and I was stumped by the news. O.O

In an article of Allure Magazine, dermatologist Dr Howard Sobel also mentioned that “Cosmetics can hold onto pollution”, sleeping with makeup on means you will end up sleeping with loads of free radical on your skin. This will lead to early aging.

That was what happened to the Korean girl. Not only small bumps started appearing on her face, her skin appears to have aged twice. She’s 20 this year.

I always do a double cleansing routine with my favourite cleanser (triple cleansing routine on days when I’m more OCD).

Double cleansing is a 2 step routine which involves cleansing with your makeup remover as the first step and cleansing with your cleanser as the second step. For triple cleansing, an exfoliation may be followed through after the second step.

And since the first step of the routine is so so soooo important, you need a good makeup remover that can remove everything on your face and gentle to your skin!

Fancl’s mild cleansing oil has been the favourite product for loads of females. One bottle of mild cleansing oil is being sold in every 7 seconds in Japan! One of the reason why it is a bestseller is because it can remove the toughest makeup gently in just one minute!

Why Cleansing Oil?

As most makeup contains oil based ingredients, cleansing oil makes it a better choice when it comes to removing makeup as it mixes into makeup more easily. Remember the basic rule when it comes to cooking? Oil and water don’t agree.

Besides that, Fancl Safety Standard (FSS) also tells you that it is safe for all skin types including sensitive skin as it is free of preservatives, sterilizers, petroleum surfactants, fragrances and mineral oil.

I did a test on some of the tough cosmetics that I own. The usual makeup removers need to take quite awhile before I get them off my skin even though these aren’t waterproof makeup.

From Left to Right: Orange and red lipstick, liquid eyeliner, kohl eyeliner and mascara

Step 1: Removing makeup

Put 2 pumps or 50-cent coin size and let it sit for a few seconds. No cotton wool/ pad is required during cleansing but in this experiment I’d just use a cotton wool so that it’d be less messy.

Step 2: Be Amazed

When I first started using it few weeks ago, I fell in love with it immediately.

That’s how my arm looks like after swiping it for about a minute or so. Remember the recent review I did for Hada Labo cleansing oil? The eyeliner was not removed in the end but Fancl’s Mild Cleansing Oil removed them all!

Step 3: Wash Off with Water

There you go! Clean and beautiful skin!

Radiant, smooth and clear skin can be seen if you take good care of your skin. This is made possible with Fancl’s addictive free MUTENKA formula to ensure that your skin is free from stress to reduce poor skin quality and aging signs.

You can buy Fancl’s Mild Cleansing Oil in Fancl’s stores island wide, the price of each 60ml bottle is $19.00 and for 120ml bottle is $33.00. To ensure its freshness, the cleansing oil must be used and discarded after 120 days after opening.

Good Stuff

Simply mention that you’re a reader of That Hazel Eyes at any Fancl store islandwide and receive 2 bottles of Deluxe TenseUp EX after a complimentary skin check! This promo is only valid till 30 November 2011!
