Review: Kila Doll Masks

Sponsored Review

Kila Doll is a brand of masks from Taiwan, specially designed for Asian skins by a group of R&D professionals.

In Japanese, Kila means pretty and shiny therefore the brand hopes that their users will have beautiful and glowing skin, just like a doll.

Each box contains 10 pieces of masks instead of the usual 5 to 7 pieces you’ll find in other brands.

Hyaluronic Acid Mask – Intensive moisturizing and brightening

About 50% of Hyaluronic Acid is found in our skin, which it nourishes and hydrates the collagen, in return preventing water loss and improving the skin’s elasticity.

Diamond Platinum Mask – Intensive Anti-aging, Reduce Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Platinum Nano particles helps to slow down signs of aging and locks in the moisture in our skin to prevent water loss. The Diamond Platinum mask also helps to repair skin, leaving you with a smoother and younger looking skin!

Tranexamic Acid Mask – Intensive whitening, evens skin tone, spot lightening

Tranexamic acid is proven to lighten hyperpigmentation caused by UV rays and is an effective ingredient for spot lightening rather than lightening the overall skin tone.

Rose Moisturizing Mask – Intensive moisturizing, brightening dull skin

Rose Water can act as an anti-inflammatory and soothes irritated skin. For people with dry skin, rose water can also be used as a moisturizer as its natural oils helps to trap moisture in the skin.

I tried the Rose Moisturizing mask and found the scent of Rose to be extremely refreshing. It is not overpowering like perfumes and leaves your skin smelling really good.

What I also like about this mask is that it is incredibly smooth and very good quality as Kila Doll uses 100% silk wood pulp fiber imported for Japan!

The essence inside the mask isn’t very sticky and the absorption rate is rather high!

What I probably dislike is that it is a little too big for my face and I doesn’t seem to be able to adjust it well on my face. The nose area fits well enough but I’m not able to cover my chin properly.

There are also times where the essence drips onto my body, but I guess it’s not really a huge problem isn’t it?

If you’re looking for a new mask in the market to try out, perhaps this is what you are looking for.

It is retailing in Watsons, SaSa, BHG/Pink Beauty at $13.90/box and $1.60/pc. It is very affordable!
