Mentholatum Organic

Sponsored Review

The Mentholatum Company was founded in 1889, providing many people with quality yet affordable healthcare products ranges from hair care, skin care, sun care to lip care.

When we talk about lip care from Mentholatum, the first one that comes to mind will be the very popular LipIce, which offers fun and fruity lip balms for any age and occasion. The company also has another range of lip balms under the Mentholatum Lip Care range, which caters to users who have dry and chapped lips.

Lately, they have introduced the Organic lip balm under this lip care range!

There are 2 flavors available: Lavender & Orange and Raspberry & Strawberry.

I love the eco-friendly packaging, using non-plastic materials which is bio-degradable.

This lip balm also obtained the organic cosmetics standard from Ecocert, a certification body for sustainable development. In order to be certified, the cosmetics must have:

  1. A minimum of 95% of all plant based ingredients in the formula and a minimum of 10% of all ingredients by weight must come from organic farming.
  2. A minimum of 95% of the total ingredients must come from natural origin.

It also uses certified raw materials from an organic farm and natural raw materials. It is also free of harsh chemicals, colorants and preservatives.

The formula contains Beeswax, jojoba oil, olive oil and shea butter oil for long lasting moisture and hydration for our lips. Also contains Vitamin E which helps to repair dry and chapped lips.

I also love the minimal fragrance added so that the smell will not be too overpowering for users who are sensitive to fragrances.

All in all, I’m liking this new lip balm series.

The lip balms are retailing at $7.90 each at all Watsons, Guardian, supermarkets and departmental stores. Try them out now and you might like it as much as I do.
